I had ordered Hot Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup which cost me $11.50. The bowl was bigger than I expected and was unable to finish it as I thought it might be okay during my coffee time. The owner was nice and paid fine attention in preparing my order. I wouldn't hesitate to go over there in future if I want to have a noodle soup bowl.

Their smorgasbord hot food is average. But their fast food, both hot and cold (sushi) is popular because of taste, pricing and location (at the Lambton end of Wellington). The premise itself is simple and adequate so long as you don't expect anything posh! Their baos (Chinese steamed buns) are a steady seller throughout the day and that's no surprise as these are good but on the pricey side. They are one of the few shops which offer vegetarian buns, along with the sweet and roast pork options. As for their skewered dim sims these are hearty snacks especially when doused with their delightful chilli. Update: Their consistently competitive pricing and value-for-money practice has seen them weather the Covid and now the recession fallout of 2024 very well. You'll find Parliamentarian staffers and tradies alike lunching here regularly. Their Lotus-wrapped sticky chicken rice is one of the best in the whole of Wellington especially when doused with their delicious, home-made chilli-bean condiment. These days, they sell out fast as does their sushi rolls and other "window-offerings"...

An old family Japanese/Chinese style fast food business on busy Lambton Quay. The food options are many from pork buns to a large optioned smorgasbord. The food portions are large, cheap and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. The decor is tired but food good . Highly recommended eatery

The crispy chicken wrap (rice sandwich) is borderline pornographic. Generous portions of chicken and avocado provide the perfect blend of moistness and crunch.

Believe it or not, this is a good place to have a delicious and good price lunch at Lambton Quay! Found this place by 'accident' and very positively surprised by the good quality food. Even though the place is very simple decorated, you can get your lunch with 3 choices at $10.50. This place offers both take away and eat in.
